The Whole Business — Queer Compass Institute June 2026 Cohort
What brought this here

The moment it clicked.

A participant in a recent session connected two things that stayed with me all week.

We were talking about JetBlue and Spirit Airlines. About how Spirit collapsed, and how JetBlue might be next — billions in debt from trying to expand into routes that were never theirs to run.

“They tried to be something they’re not. And it’s costing them.”

Then he paused.

“I think I’ve been doing the same thing.”— A participant, Session 1

That’s what happens when we build a business the way we were trained to survive in professional spaces. Lead with the skill. Minimize the identity. Soften the values. Broaden the pitch so no one can object.

And then wonder why the whole thing feels hollow.

For queer and BIPOC professionals, identity is not the background to your work. It is the work. It’s the thing that makes a client trust you before you’ve finished a sentence. It’s what no certification can replicate.

Most of us were never taught that. We were taught to compartmentalize it. And that costs us — in burnout, in undercharging, in building things that look like businesses but don’t feel like us.

Who this is for

You’re talented. You’re doing the work.
Something still isn’t clicking.

  • You have a skill, a practice, or a creative offering — and you’re generating some income from it, but it doesn’t feel like a real business yet.
  • You’ve been undercharging for years. You know it. You just don’t know how to fix it without feeling like you’re pricing people out of your community.
  • You keep softening your identity in your pitch so more people will say yes — and it’s making everything feel like less.
  • You’re a queer or BIPOC professional, creative, or entrepreneur who is done leaving yourself out of the equation.
  • You want a small room of people who actually get it — not a generic business course built for someone else.
The curriculum

Four sessions. One complete arc.

One session per week. Each builds on the last. Enroll in the full program and take any cycle twice at no extra cost.

01
The Compass Within
Identity as Your Business Foundation

We start where every business actually starts — with who you are. Not your credentials. Not your niche statement. The values, experiences, and ways of seeing that make your work irreplaceable.

02
Take Up Space
Visibility, Pricing & Charging What You’re Worth

We go deep on pricing psychology, what’s actually driving undercharging, and how to set rates that reflect your value — not your fear. You leave with a number you can hold.

03
Show Up and Be Seen
Building Your Offer Architecture

What are you actually selling — and does it clearly communicate the transformation? We build or refine your core offer so it attracts the right people and converts without you having to over-explain.

04
The Long Game
From First Client to Sustainable Business

We map your client strategy, your pipeline, and your 90-day plan. You leave with clarity on who your clients are, how to find them, and how to build something that sustains you — not just survives.

Questions

Before you decide.

Who is this for?
LGBTQ+ and queer professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs of color who are building something on the side — a coaching practice, creative offering, consulting track, or service-based business — and need structure, community, and someone who gets the full picture of who they are.
How big is the group?
Intentionally small. The cohort is capped so everyone has space to be heard and supported — not lost in a crowd.
What does “take any cycle twice” mean?
The program runs in rolling 4-week cycles. When you enroll in the full program, you can attend any complete cycle a second time at no additional cost — so you can go deeper when you’re in a different place in your business.
I missed Session 1 — can I still join the May cohort?
Yes. The $297 option includes the Session 1 recording so you can catch up before Session 2. Sessions 2, 3, and 4 cover pricing, your offer, and your client strategy.
How does the early bird code work?
Use code EARLY150 at checkout to save $150 on the full June cohort — drops the price from $597 to $447. Code expires May 20, 2026.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes — reach out to noris@norisknows.com and we’ll work something out.
