Last week, I attended a Keynote & Workshop hosted by my friend Jayzen Patria in collaboration with OutPro at the LGBT Center in Los Angeles. The workshop, titled ‘Are You Coffee or Are You Starbucks?’ delved into the 5-Step Process Jayzen has developed to help individuals launch their personal brand. Not only is Jayzen a masterful speaker, but he also went beyond the generic ‘be authentic’ talk inviting us to supersize our adjectives when describing our personal brand(s) to stand out—hence the workshop title. Though I’m more of a Nike guy.
With this in mind, I want to share my five supersized words and what they mean and how you can expect to see them and me show up.
VISIONARY
I am 1000% a visionary. Expect to elevate your perspective. Whether it’s through pioneering live coaching streams or introducing groundbreaking fundraising strategies, I provide practical examples of visionary thinking in action. Only forward-thinking allowed.

Going through this exercise was not as easy as you think, but it was very helpful. What’s also helpful is practicing self compassion, knowing I am only human, and that my words may eventually evolve.
Reading these words in bold above, makes me feel really good.
